Along with pre-planning Fire Engineering support, the Fire Safety Certificate Application included an extensive Fire Dynamics Simulation (FDS) model of fire-driven fluid flow. It was used to demonstrate the accuracy of PRO-FIRE's Fire Safety Engineering Design.

The Hub at Cillin Hill – Bringing business & entertainment to Kilkenny
Cillín Hill is the first of its kind in Ireland, a multi-purpose development with a floor area of approx 16,575m2 m2, providing state-of-the-art agri-sales rings, an innovative multi-purpose venue, meeting rooms & conference facilities, a range of office & retail units and bar & restaurant accommodation. On the same site is an NCT centre and high-spec retail and commercial units are also under construction.
Pre-Planning Fire Engineering support was provided to the architects, which was then subsequently followed with Fire Safety Certificate Applications for each separate building. As part of the Cillín Hill Fire Safety Certificate Application an extensive Fire Dynamics Simulation (FDS) model of fire-driven fluid flow was developed to demonstrate the accuracy of PRO-FIRE's Fire Safety Engineering Design. Once complete a real life cold smoke simulation was carried out by a third party on behalf of the Kilkenny Fire Authority to further validate the accuracy of PRO-FIRE's design.
