Certification & Licensing

Opinion / Certificate of Compliance:

Necessary at Completion Stage of all projects; where a Fire Engineer is required to give an Opinion on Compliance with the granted Fire Safety Certificate, specification, compliance report and the relevant Building Regulations.

Under the upcoming amendments to the Building Control Regulations, Certification will be required. This will have major implications on how a Design Team and it’s Architects and Engineers must supervise and sign-off at completion stage.

Pro-Fire will ensure that we will be in a position to design a suitable inspection schedule, carry out inspections and provide all relevant Certification when the new Building Control Regulations come in to play.

Liquor Licensing Certification:

Under the Intoxicating Liquor Act 2008, as part of the Dance License and Exemptions Applications at the annual licensing court a Fire Safety Engineer must provide confirmation that the building complies with the current Building Regulations (Part B Fire) or the relevant granted Fire Safety Certificate.

To do this Pro-Fire can pre-empt, identity and address any issues likely to be raised by the Fire Officer in advance of the Licensing Court.

Dangerous Substance License:

Under the Dangerous Substances Act 1972 a Dangerous Substance License is required in order to operate a Petroleum Station.  Pro-Fire can provide the necessary engineering required to obtain this Dangerous Substance License.
